The Challenge

The client sought to strengthen its information protection measures and improve how information was analyzed and safeguarded. To achieve this, it needed a team of consultants capable of addressing operational challenges related to application security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, and vulnerability assessments. Another key requirement was the creation of documentation to support the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) areas.

The Solution

Baufest assembled a specialized team to work alongside the client's application security, risk, and Ethical Hacking teams. The engagement began with a vulnerability and risk assessment process, followed by the update and expansion of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy across the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. In addition, we implemented an ethical phishing program to raise user awareness and deployed a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solution to strengthen Shadow IT governance.
